About Us
Millwoods Hockey Association is a non-profit organization that has been involved in the community since 1986 providing hockey programs for children ages 4 - 12 years. We operate in Area I under SEERA (South East Edmonton Recreation Association), also known as the “Southeast Zone”.
With the help of volunteers we have maintained a successful hockey program which provides coaches with the training they need to develop and foster the growth of the children enrolled in our programs. We offer development programs for players of all ages to participate in throughout the year. With skilled leveled programs players will grow based on their abilities and will still be able to have a safe, fun experience. We pride our program by maintaining low fees to allow more families to participate in the sport of hockey.
Millwoods Hockey combines with its sister operating area, North SEERA Hockey (Area II), to play under the SEERA banner in the U15, U18 and Junior C age categories. As a Minor Hockey Association in Edmonton, Millwoods Hockey is governed by Hockey Edmonton, Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada.
Our Mission
Millwoods Hockey Associations mission is to provide a positive minor hockey experience for all players by organizing, coordinating and developing hockey programs for all age levels. To maintain the spirit of hockey, sportsmanship and teamwork among all Millwoods Hockey staff, team staff, coaches and players. To enhance the positive value of our hockey programs by providing leadership and initiative to develop better citizens, to encourage and direct the fostering of a strong sense of community pride and participation by all players. To develop coaches, officials and volunteers to carry out the expressed goals of our members.
Service Area
To play with Millwoods Hockey you must reside within the Millwoods Hockey service area and within the Southeast Zone as of September 1 of the current season.
