Financial Assistance Options
Jumpstart
Jumpstart offers financial assistance to allow families who may not otherwise be able to afford it, an opportunity to get their kids on the ice.
Eligible players can receive up to:
- $300.00 per application
- $600.00 annually

Kidsport
The Edmonton Oilers and KidSport have teamed up for a THIRD year to launch the KidSport Oil Country Assist Program (HAP).
For qualified players the program provides:
- $750 per player
- Access to no-cost equipment from Sport Central
Players must be registered with Millwoods Hockey prior to submitting an application to KidSport. KidSport will require a copy of your invoice/receipt for confirmation of registration.

Grindstone Award Foundation
The Grindstone Award Foundation is helping to remove financial barriers for girls who love to play hockey.
- They provide funding grants to go towards hockey registration fees.
- Female players can also apply to receive 1 of 25 full sets of equipment donated by the NHLPA Goals and Dreams Fund.

Hockey Canada Assist
The Hockey Canada Assist Fund is dedicated to help Canadian youth access minor hockey programs in their region.
- It will provide up to $500 in registration subsidies to approved applicants that participate with a sanctioned Hockey Canada association.
